Temporary Homelessness

Did you know that nearly 80% of homeless people work part time or full time? It's not nearly all the poor hygiene and schizophrenia and methed-out crazies that everyone chalks it up to be. Especially because I am one of them now. Not the methed-out crazies part or the schizophrenic part or the bad hy--well, the jury is still out on that one.

It's difficult to leave any relationship behind, to take the experience with you but to not carry it around like emotional baggage, to remember without bitterness or sadness, to want to move on. But it's particularly difficult when you live together because now I get to embark upon the so-called cathartic journey that is packing up my stuff, moving out, and not knowing where I'll go next. Truly, a feather in the wind. Again.
