This is pretty delayed, but I got some terrific news a few weeks back: I got invited to a final interview for Teach for America!
This is a really big deal because:
a) I got invited directly to the final interview, meaning I skipped one of the weeder phone interviews
b) Only 1 in 8 people end up getting accepted to TFA
annnnnnd c) It means my job hunt could be over before it ever really began!
Stay tuned for more exciting news! I will find out if I get accepted and where/what I'll be teaching at the end of February. Look for a big, braggy post (hopefully)!
